BIG DEBUT!

Thanks to all the incessant whiners out there (love you all) I guess its time for a pregnancy post

First for a quick recap-

Up until about 3 weeks ago we were POSITIVE we were having a little boy. So positive in fact that we really hadnt even thought of any girl names. Pfft, so much for gut feelings. The 20 week ultrasound shocked us with a resounding GIRL. So a little change of plans and we are thrilled that well be having a baby girl sometime in the vicinity of August 2. (Aarons excited because as he puts it girls have more chance at becoming pro athletes.)

Aaron comes home on the weekends and is always impressed (translates=taken back) by the changes. On a good point he reads the What to Expect book section for dads and thinks I am the BEST pregnant wife ever. This is because pretty much the whole section is about moodiness and he says I hardly have any mood swings at all. I tell him hes right. But lets be honest he lives in another state and sees me 48 hours/week.

So there you have it. No names as of yet. A few ideas Feel free to leave a comment if you have any fabulous baby girl names youd be willing to share!

Little Baby B profile for those not familiar (I DID have to explain this one to Aaron)

Little arm and hand waving HI!

And the belly. It's a horrible angle. But I've decided there are no good angles at this point.
Anyway, 5 month bump.

Now on to more fun facts- (Alexis: I am going to copy your idea of posting things I love right now I couldnt come up with anything better no matter how hard I tried to NOT copy you.)

Things I love right now-

Tobasco. On EVERYTHING. Im not generally a Tobasco girl, but I have been putting it on everything.

Hot Dogs. Cooked in any manner- grill, fire, microwave, doesnt matter.

Babinskis. The cutest baby boutique on Foothill. I want everything in that store.

My parents. They are so supportive and patient. They dont hate when I call them at 10:00 at night crying because someone asks me when I’m due. And they have me up for dinner every Wednesday night.

My friends. From supplying a daily list of names corresponding to the alphabet letter of the day, to sewing custom maternity clothes, or listening to my boring baby blabber I have the best friends.

Skiing. If it werent for bright happy sunshine soft groomers - and Steins Beach I would be going completely insane on my weekends. I dont know what I’ll do when the season is over!

My Doctor. She is the best. I know everyone thinks their dr. is, but mine seriously is.

Jazzercise. Gotta keep the body in shape still.

Belly Band. Makes it possible to unbutton the top button on normal pants in public. Need I say more?

MY HUSBAND. Needs no explanation.

Things I’m not loving so much right now-

Bending over. This is a very bad sign since I am only 5 months along. I can only imagine it in 3 more months.

Chai Tea. I used to LOVE Chai Tea. I think I drank it one morning and then got morning sickness now I cant stand the smell of it.

Sleeping on my Side. I am typically a back sleeper. Apparently that’s a no-go now.

Maternity Clothes. I dont need them yet, but I browsed through a store a week ago and it made me sad. That stuff is horrible. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places?

Being Sick. I have had this never-ending cough/cold for the past month and a half. Boo.

Strangers Helping Themselves to Touching my Belly. In no society should this be acceptable. This is only okay if I know you well and like you.

Whit, me, and little Baby skiing at Deer Valley last weekend! SO GORGEOUS!

Ahhhhh! Where do I even start?! Of course, I love this post, since I was one of the whiners you mentioned, haha! Plus I totally got a shout out which makes me feel super cool.
1. I love the new blog header.
2.I love that you did the list of love/hates.
3.So happy youre having a girl so G and her can be besties. I can totally see Aaron and Casey taking the girls fishing. And Aaron has an excellent point about girls having a better chance of being pro athletes... I am all about G being athletic.
4.totally admire you for managing without Aaron during the week and keeping the mood swings in check. Youre pretty spectacular.
5. Totally love the name Sadie. Sadie Bell... Adorable!! And I love the name London.
6.Love your lady bump.
7. Im guessing if you love hot dogs youre still immune from heartburn, in which case I am insanely jealous. If you do get heartburn get prilosec OTC. It works wonders.
8.With you on the belly band, I dont know how I survived without it.
9.Ugh maternity clothes!! The only cute ones are waaaaay over priced.

Okay this is the longest comment ever! and dont worry, I am about to email you in addition to this.

So SO so freaking excited for you guys!!

I was also one of the whiners mentioned in your blog and I must admit I am a bit upset after seeing your photo!! You do not look pregnant at all. Well, I guess for you, you do because you are so tiny! But at 5 months, there was no mistaking that I was prego!! Maybe it was because of the ugly maternity clothes I was forced to wear!!! Anyway, all kidding aside, you look great! I am so excited for all of you! London is a great name!! And of course so is Ireland. People would think we were crazy if we had our girls together, and we were yelling out "london", "Ireland"..yeah thats right we only name our kids after cool places in the world..that how we roll!!!! Keep the pics coming

After reading the things your best friends have been doing, I realized that those are all things Ashley has done. I am obviously sucking at the BF thing, it must be because I hate babies ;)

I thought that I might do an opposite of a name for every letter and do a name NOT to use for every letter. Then I realized I would probably offend a handful of people if I did that.

Hey I know!!! Name him Finn, that's my favorite name for a little boy.

...Oh wait, a) you're having a girl and b) you already used by favorite name for your dog who has uncontrollable gas problems...thanks dude.

Ha ha ha, love ya girl!!! Hope you had fun in Jackson. Maybe one of these days I will update my blog :)

Whit, that's not true... you listen to my boring baby blabber, so you are included in that category. You may not respond... but you PRETEND to listen! haha j/k.
And I think a daily list of ANTI-names is a funny idea! (Jo came up with the letter of the day.)

Yea! I am so excited you are having a girl!! That will be so fun, sorry we couldn't think of any baby girl names either, I was pretty positive we were having a boy and it ended up that we were! As far a maternity clothes, I hear ya, especially if you go to Motherhood, o man they are terrible! I pretty much have just been buying clothes in the regular section, just a little bigger, urban outfitters has cute tanks and then I just wear a cardigan, shade clothing has some plan basic stuff that is pretty cute, Gap maternity is pretty good too, and shabby apple (online) has a couple of real cute dresses! you are so cute and stylish, I am sure you will look great in whatever you find! Tell Aaron hello!
